  The NJ Chapter is thrilled to have played a role in granting this wish. It was a pleasure to work with the Illinois Chapter, and we thank them for bringing this wish to our attention. We should do more grants together in the future :).
  
  Coming from a family of firefighters, both paid and volunteer, this was personal for me. It was an honor to do this. Stay safe out there!

  Thank you for becoming our heros. You don't know how much we need this. Last night after we got back from a car fire ,my brothers and sisters were looking for cold water.

  I am so glad to see the Dave was able to come up with a way for us all to grant this wish in full for these Heroes.
  I have personally been in contact with the Chief and the actual wisher Lt Robert Resker very nice guys and I have invited both to watch and listen in tomorrow night on WISHTV. Hope they are able to make it!! =)

  I am so far from you or I'd try from my freecycle group! You could even post a wanted ad on craigslist...
  My husband volunteers so I know whats its like for you guys to just want a nice fridge to come to after volunteering your huge efforts to save lives!

  Did you try your local Freecycle group???? Go to www. freecycle.org find your state, then put in your town or county name in the search bar. Then go in and join most bigger town have more then 1 in the area.Also you should have local sell groups in the links bar. Check it out there asume groups. Good luck Barb

  I wish you were close enough that I could give the extra one out of my house. We are selling and since I will receive nothing for it, I would rather it go to firefighters.
  
  With so many houses in "short sale" or foreclosure, could you pick one up for pennies-on-the-dollar on Craigslist? Each firefighter could contribute $5 to the cause?
  
  Of course, I would rather see your wish answered! :)

  Try posting on Craigslist and freecycle. Most people in the area would be glad to help out such a worthy cause. Best wishes to you all.
