I WISH For help with the electric bill and electrician

I got my electric bill yesterday and it is over twice what it normally is. I called the company and they had me check the meter. It was running very fast. They had me flick the breaker to individual rooms and see what it was coming from. It was our bedroom, and we figured out it is our bedroom light and one of the outlets causing it to run fast. They read the meter again and they said in the 3 days since they last read it we used an average of a week and a half of electricity. They will not reduce the bill because it is a wiring problem. I told them my daughter has to have breathing treatments daily because of severe asthma and they told me to go to the neighbors to do the treatments, they could not help.

I have asked the DFCS and churches but they are overloaded with requests. I also called an electrician but to fix the problem is very expensive. He told me to just turn off the breaker to the whole bedroom to reduce the risk of the wiring catching the house on fire. I did talk the electric company into paying half the bill now and they will hold it until the middle of January and we would have to pay the other half then. I wish for help with paying half and help with costs of the electrician. I need the electricity because I have a 6 year old, a 15 month old with asthma, and a 9 week old and it is getting cold. I also need it fixed because there is no need for electricity if it burns our house down. The electrician will take payments but has to have the service fee up front. PS If you feel better about donating straight to the electric company instead of just donating money I can see if I can get them to take payments over the phone from donaters.
