Pop Up Camper

I know this seems like a strange request but I just found out I have recurrent Lymphoma. My timeline is short. I have to see a referring oncologist at Scott and White in Temple and go through an intense chemo and transplant procedure. (autologous bone marrow). My request is that I need a pop up camper because my husband is my caregiver and it will be next to impossible to keep my boys (3) away from me and keep everything hospital clean. It's very specific in the paperwork that I will be under a quarantine of sorts and since my children go to school every day they will bring home alot of germs that I would be exposed to. If I could stay in the Pop Up Camper then I could still be close to my children and my husband could manage everything better and easier.

I guess I didn't explain this very well. What I meant to say is that I will be immune compromised and I can't stay in a hotel. I have to stay in a hospital clean environment which means if I can have the camper next to our home then I can still be with my family but I have to be quarantined after the transplant. Also to answer the other questions: both of my parents are dead and my sister is in a nursing home. Pop up campers have AC and you can hook it right to your house. I have a backyard right next to our back porch. I start out with the I.C.E. chemo then I get the stem cells collected, then they give me the high dose chemo BEAM then I get my stem cells back a la the transplant. Yes they have hotels but I can't afford that and my children are in school right now. Once I am released I have to recover at home. It would be easier to clean a camper then the whole house with lysol and every other high powered cleaner. I have applied for Cleaning with a Reason but it's just too hard to d

Many hospitals have places or houses in or near towns, maybe even your town where you can stay. Even ask a local motel for a discount. Some churches near you may have an emergency place for you to stay. Ask to speak to your hospital's social worker. Word of warning...You will be much safer and better cared for inside your home. You will get dehydrated out in a camper. Maybe you need to stay with a parent or sibling. Too many chances you may get bitten by a virus carrying insect as well.
