I am a physically challenged mother of two sons. One is a mentally challenged adult with neurological and cardiological impairments, the other is a special needs young adult battling with some issues related to genetic Fragile X syndrome and early onset arthritis but trying hard to spread his wings in spite of his challenges. My life partner is a healthy woman who works in our local hometown gas station as a cashier. She is a US Navy Veteran and served during 911. She chose not to renew her military contract so we could live freely and openly as a family. We are dedicated to the love and care of disabled pets and run a very small private sanctuary for special needs cats and dogs.
