Hi, we are a proud family, husband wife and 6 children. Our oldest is 21, younget 9 months (: I have worked as a case manager for a local homeless shelter and drive a school bus. I am no longer at the shelter due to travel and having the new babies. My husband has worked for United Van lines 16 years, recently having 2 back surgeries, he is now working for the knights of Columbus. I am also starting back to school this semester...yikkes! I have 2 associates, but really need to further my education. I feel I have been blessed. I have over come many obstacles, and feel that now at age 38, life is where it should be. I appreciate the simple things now, my babies laughter! The sunshine... of course having a roof over our heads too! My 13 year old son has a form of Autism, and keeps us right on our toes! Every day seems like a challenge at times, but at the same time a blessing. I feel like I can relate to so many situations. I have been down as low as can be. I started my family very young. I found my self alone, homeless and very scared. I found my self addicted, I found myself wanting to die. Some how, I found the will and strength to keep pushing through! I am now doing good. And even though we are now suffering set backs, I know God never gives us more than we can handle. I love helping others. My job at the shelter was very important to me. I loved my clients! I know ther eis always some one in a much worse situation than me, and I am so thankfull for what I have here right now! A roof, food, and my family! God Bless you all!
