I am married to a wonderful man we have 2 sons ages 15 & 9. Our oldest son was diagnosed 5 years ago with Asperger's Syndrome, an Autism Spectrum Disorder, which was like being in a nightmare 24 hours a day. I had to leave my job of 8 years, so that I could focus on our son, leaving Dad to be the only provider for the 4 of us. Then Dad was hurt at work in 2005, his back, although physical therapy and medication were provided, his pain continued and worsened, leaving him unable to do the job he was "hired" for. Dad has had 3 back surgeries since then, the most recent being in Sept 2009. I also have had my share of medical issues, the most recent being to be a tumor in the marrow compartment of my left femur, Gee I hate getting old.....LOL......Despite it all, we have gotten thru, because of our faith and each other. We may not have alot financially, but our family is rich with the Love we have for each other and in man kind. We have taught our children that you don't need tons of money to help others, some time all it takes is a smile.
