Yesterday I mad a wish asking for help to get shorty to the vet.
http://www.wishuponahero.com/wishes/?id=8065
And some awesome people jumped in to help me. We took Shorty in and had her tested for Parvo. Unfortunatly The test came back postive.
The Vet recommended we put her in the hospitalat the cost of 120.00 a day. There is no way that we can afford that.
So warching the tears well up inm my sons eyes, ( shorty is his puppy) I listened to the doctor Who suggested our next step.
UPDATE:
We just came home from the vet. Shorty tested posive for Parvo. My son is crushed, He needs to be admitted to the hospital for about a week at 120.00 a day. There is no way that I can afford that. Our next option is bring her in daily for treatments, that costs 58.75 , still not in our budget. So I am going to try to find 75.00 So that we can get her first treatment and antibiotics and stomache meds to give at home. Thats all I can do. It is not happy at this house right now. Thank you for your help . wilma
I am newly DEAF. I have children and am unable to purchase alerting devices that would help me become more self sufficient daily and as Mother. I have not seen my grandparents in a long while and they are both very sick, my grandfather with diabeties and heart problems and my graandmother with cancer and heart problems as well. They live in IN and now they cant travel anymore I really pray that we get a chance to see them soon. I miss them so much and hope my son is able to spend time with them.
I am Renee, mommy to Kassidy, 8; Kameron, 6; Kennedy, 3 1/2; and Keeghan 6 months. I am married to Frank who is in the Army and will be deploying soon after Christmas for 15 months.
2007 has been a rough year for all my kids. In April, Kennedy, who has Down syndrome, was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML). She immediately started chemotherapy which consisted of us being inpatient for 20 days of each month from April through September. Our youngest son, Keeghan was born during her first admission and has spent the majority of his life at the hospital even though he wasn't sick. Kassidy and Kameron moved to my mom's while we were gone.
Come join us on December 8th to meet some of the Wish Upon A Hero members. We will be brainstorming ideas to help the WUAH community to grow.

I wish that my 6 kids have a few toys and clothes for Christmas. It's been very rough since Hurricane Katrina, and just need a little help to get back on our feet. We was brought here to Ohio to live from Louisiana. We was put in one of there public houses and put on welfare.
My last child passed away 5 months ago. He was autistic and escaped our home and drowned in a nearby pond. My family and kids have been through so much with it. We have spent our money and fundraised for his funeral and headstone bills. He was denied life ins because of his autism.we still owe just over 1,000 for his headstone. Hopefully we will have it at tax time.
