Many of you may recall last year when Jeff Dunham's management team gave one of our wishers 4 tickets to his show. Well, their back in action! This time they have tripled their efforts by granting the wishes for a family whose father recently took his life, for a single mom and for a family with limited funds. Thanks to Jeff Dunham and his crew for putting smiles on our faces during these tough economic times. Also, a special thanks to Wish Ambassador, overwhelmedbystress who helped get these wishes granted.

About a month ago, Wish Upon A Hero found a very special wish from a pregnant woman in Michigan. She made a wish for her husband, a U.S. soldier serving in Iraq, to be able to come home to see the birth of his baby. We are happy to announce that the heroes raised $792, enough money to get him home. We look forward to seeing the pictures of the little one!

What is Team Wish? Who is Team Wish? Team Wish is the Programs and Chapters of the Foundation that work together to help grant a larger wish. Our first Team Wish project was to help member "inyourshoes2" with their leaky roof. The water was running directly into their 7 year old daughters room. The construction labor was already donated by another member and they just need to raise about $400 for the material. That's when Team Wish was established. Within a 24 hour period 8 programs and chapters (New Jersey Chapter, Florida Chapter, Walk On Heroes Program, Mississippi Chapter, North Carolina Chapter, Illinois Chapter, Missouri Chapter) worked together to raise $440. Thank you Team Wish!

Karla1958 suffers from sleep apnea. Central sleep apnea is when the brain doesn't send the signals to the lungs to breath, a very serious condition. To ensure that this condition is treated properly, Karla needed a VPAP machine. As she puts it, "They are ridiculously expensive." Luckily for her, a Wish Ambassdor, mum2kaza was able to make a contact at Specialized Medical Devices Inc. who granted this wish. Some heroes take our breath away and some put it back.
