The Wish Upon A Hero Food Angels are pleased and excited to announce the winners of the very first Grocery Store Gift Card Giveaway!  Because of the number of people who have joined the Food Angels and the generous donations we have received we are able to help three lucky families this month!

Our first winner and the recipient of a $50 gift card to the grocery store of her choice is Kryzdan.

(NJMommy) is a hardworking single mother of two young girls. She works two jobs and her biggest wish is to have a nice home for her girls to grow up in. Habitat is helping to grant this wish. One of the requirements for to get a home is to work 400 sweat equity hours or have others work the hours in her name.

The Wish Upon A Hero Team is in the process of planning some awesome events and fundraisers! We are very excited to bring you some fun and entertaining events and gatherings in the coming year. We are currently contemplating a Mother's Day Brunch which will be held here in South Jersey.  We are looking for some feedback from our local members. Please give us an idea of how many would be interested in attending an event like this.

Mother's Day is on Sunday, May 11, 2008. We are planning to make this a very special and elegant event with all of the trimmings.
