Wish Upon A Hero is based in South Jersey only a couple of miles away from where Kelly Ripa grew up. It would be great to have Kelly support the idea of people helping people and become our spokesperson. She would be a great choice and she already has a tract record of supporting projects around her home community. She's fun, pretty, and caring, the perfect match for the Wish Upon A Hero site. If anyone has a Ripa connection, send them our way! If not, maybe we can get her attention by contacting the show.

There is a new group on WUAH, called the Food Angels. Because there are so many members wishing for basic necessities such as food, we have come up with an idea to feed them.

What do you do when your 9 year old daughter has an important gymnastics meet in Idaho at 7:45 and you live in Washington? Post a wish of course! Thanks to an amazing hero and the great people at the Holiday Inn Express Hotels & Suites in Coeur d'Alena Idaho a mother can now cheer on her daughter. E4shannon, don't forget to send us an update on your daughters performance. Good Luck!
There is always someone out there to help. It's just a matter of finding them. In this case a child with brain cancer need a specific carseat to support her. The steroids used to help make her strong also cause her to gain some weight putting her over the 40 pound max for most carseats. The Radian80 was one of the few carseats that would accommodate these needs for this family. A wish member just happened to do work with Sunshine Kids, a company dedicated to developing products that make the traveling experience for families and children safer and more enjoyable.
Thanks to both Sunshine Kids and Wish Upon A Hero Member Crash for making this happen.

The Leach Family loves Charlie's Soap. It's the only detergent that doesn't irritate their kids skin. Unlike most typical laundry detergents that only cover up stains and odors, Charlie's Laundry Powder will clean the clothes without leaving any of the washing residue normally left behind. But the Leach Family was financially in a messy spot and couldn't afford to purchase the 5 gallon bucket. A Wish Angel soon would come to the rescue. In less 24 hours the manufactures of Charlie's Soap joined Wish Upon A Hero and granted the Leach Family's wish. Thanks Charlie's Soap for cleaning up a messy situation.
